Privacy Policy
What Blurt collects
To run your account, we collect your email address and password (stored by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your password in plain text). To run the product, we collect the content you capture: whatever you type into Blurt, plus the tasks, notes, and context threads it gets organised into.
How your captures are processed
Every capture you send to Blurt is sent to Anthropic (the maker of the Claude models) to be organised into tasks, notes, and context. This is not optional background infrastructure — it is the core of how the product works, and it means the text you type is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing. Anthropic processes this content under its own API terms; we do not use your captures to train models ourselves.
Who else touches your data
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
- Anthropic — processes capture content to organise it, as above.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and captures until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems; you can do this from Settings inside the app.
Your choices
- Delete individual captures, tasks, notes, or context threads at any time inside the app.
- Delete your entire account from Settings, which removes your data from our systems.
- Contact us (below) if you can't access the app and need your account deleted.
Children
Blurt is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll let you know inside the app before the change takes effect.
